About Erin Fordnam
Erin’s fertility journey began in 2011, when she decided to start a family with her partner Daniel. After struggling to conceive naturally, they underwent testing and discovered male fertility was the primary issue. They endured four IUIs and two rounds of IVF before finally welcoming their sixth and final embryo, a baby boy, into the world in May 2021.
During her treatment, Erin found solace in the Hope for Waiting Arms fertility support group in Barrie, Ontario. She facilitated conversations and became inspired to create the Oasis Fertility Support Network in June 2022 to provide a community for others going through similar experiences. Erin believes that this community is crucial for persevering through fertility treatment.
Outside of her work in fertility support, Erin is an Employee Benefit specialist at a firm in Orillia, Ontario, and she is actively involved in the small business community in the region. In her free time, she enjoys being by the water, soaking up the sunshine, snuggling with her French bulldog, and enjoying a glass of red wine.
